I just watched the preview for “Elementary” and I am disgusted by the needlessly rude and hateful comments I read. Most of those likely came from BBC Sherlock fans, too. I’m disappointed. I dislike the elitism and critical nature some fans end up flaunting. Some are upset that the show looks too much like BBC Sherlock and others are upset that it doesn’t directly copy Doyle’s creation. I think that these people feel threatened by yet another Holmes interpretation, and I wish that they wouldn’t. It’s just a television show. If you can’t give it a fair chance, then keep your criticism quiet. If you give it a chance and decide you don’t like it, then discontinue watching it. The only thing that will keep it on the air are ratings, and if it gets low ratings it will go away. If not, you’ll just have to deal with it or ignore it.

The price is usually the dealbreaker for me. xD; I’m happy it’s the weekend, but I’m also kind of scared (4 AP exams next week).
